09 Dec How to Get the Body You Want
If you’re looking for a sure fire way to get the body you want, it’s very simple. Develop a strong mindset, start exercising the right way, learn all you can about nutrition, and implement what you learn. Very simple on paper, but not easy. Mindset is a massive topic and I’ll address that in another article.
And while I’m a huge proponent of exercise, it doesn’t mean ANYTHING if you aren’t eating right. I’m sure you heard, “you can’t outexercise a bad diet.” It’s true. You know the many benefits of exercise and why you should do it. So why doesn’t everyone do it then? Ah, there’s a bunch of excuses, but when you really come down to it, it just isn’t a priority for most people. Let me give you just a few simple ways that you can get seriously fit starting right now:
1-Exercise with Kettlebells.
Kettlebell training is a game changer. Why? Because they work like nothing I’ve seen in many, many years of weight training. I mean, you can get a killer full body workout in 30 minutes or less and accomplish every benefit you want from a fitness program. Here’s what you’ll get: increased strength, fat loss, increased flexibility, a strong back and shoulders, improved cardiovascular performance, improved posture, and enhanced functional strength, to name a few key benefits. If you want to get seriously fit, Kettlebell training a great way to reach ultimate fitness. Now, while I love kettlebells and what they offer, there are MANY OTHER GREAT ways to train, as well. Things I’ll be discussing much more, but kettlebells are pretty much at the top of my list for many reasons, so I wanted to provided my top training recommendation to you, but realize there are other methods, as well. The Kettlebell is simply a great tool.
2-Learn all you can about nutrition.
Let’s face it, there are a ton of good diet and nutrition books out there (and some really bad ones too). The point is that you have to read and learn all that you can about nutrition. It’s really up to YOU to educate yourself. I have found that there is a lot of misinformation out there and also a lack of education about nutrition and eating well. You may even read conflicting advice or theories and have to ultimately decide what will be best for you. How do you do this? First, look at the data, what does the research show? And second, you may have to try out different things yourself to find what works best for you. One thing I suggest, no matter what you follow, make sure that there is sufficient data or studies behind a method, training system, nutrition plan, or product. There has to be validation behind the claims.
3-Implement what you learn.
When you learn about nutrition and make just small daily improvements in your eating habits, you’ll be on your way getting what it is you want (six pack abs, building lean muscle, losing weight, or whatever). It’s not enough just to learn, you have to ACT on what it is you learn. Let’s say you’ve read all kinds of nutrition books (or any books for that matter), all the knowledge in the world is not good until acted on (this is what I constantly tell myself, I’m being honest and telling you this as an information addict). So, once you have the knowledge, implement and discover what works, what doesn’t, and what you need to succeed. And don’t get overwhelmed, just start making small changes in your patterns. Small changes are small wins and will get you towards the goals you want, whatever they are, so go for it!!!
3 simple things you can do to get seriously fit. Start exercising with Kettlebells and discover the huge benefits this type of training has to offer. Read and learn all you can about nutrition. And finally, put that knowledge into action and implement what you learn. Discover what works best for you and you are on your way to serious fitness and amazing health. Small daily improvements will get you there and get you where you want to be.
