THE ONLY SPEED TRAINING SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED FOR LACROSSE ATHLETES
As a girls lacrosse coach and parent of two lacrosse players, it’s been frustrating to discover that high-quality speed and agility training options are limited for these athletes.
That’s why I created Lax Speed Clinics.
Professional, personalized, and progressive speed training – specifically for lacrosse athletes.
Hey, I’m Scott and I’ve created something that hasn’t been available.
SMALL GROUP TRAINING
At Lax Speed Clinics, we’ll focus on improving the many qualities of speed for the sport of lacrosse while simultaneously training to improve the key athletic attributes such as strength, true agility, balance, acceleration, change of direction, and much more.
This one-of-a-kind training will make lacrosse athletes – better, faster, and stronger.
Fast athletes will get even faster.
And, any athlete will develop their own unique qualities of speed and explosiveness.
Designed specifically for GIRLS MIDDLE SCHOOL & HIGH SCHOOL lacrosse athletes.
Here’s what we’ll be working on:
-Speed (multi-directional and linear, lacrosse specific)
-Acceleration (the key to speed development)
-Change of Direction/Change of Speed
-Body Mechanics & Positioning (to optimize top-speed)
-Injury Prevention Techniques
-General Strength (*Strength is the foundation for speed)
–Jump Training (to improve speed qualities)
–Conditioning for lacrosse
-And so much more!

LIMITED TO JUST A FEW ATHLETES.
To provide the highest quality coaching experience, I need to limit the number of athletes I work with at any given time.
Once these slots are filled, that’s it for now.
My goal is to empower these athletes with the knowledge and skills they need to perform at their best.
This training is personally taught and developed by certified strength and conditioning specialist, certified speed coach, and USA lacrosse level 2 certified coach, Scott Iardella.
As a former sports medicine orthopedic physical therapist, the approach uses a deep understanding of human anatomy and biomechanics – to minimize risk for injury and maximize performance. Not to mention, I am a perpetual student. I am always learning about methods and strategies to improve human performance.

WHAT TO DO NEXT:
If you’re committed to improving speed and athleticism for lacrosse, please fill out the short application and agree to the waivers below to get started.
*With COVID-19, we will be following social distancing guidelines and all appropriate training protocols to ensure safety for you – and for me. Again, please read and agree to the 2 waivers below.
WHEN & WHERE IS TRAINING?
Clinics will generally be on on the weekends, but we may be able to do some sessions during the week.
*This could change depending on the group needs. For example, if the group can meet on a Friday evening at 5, we’ll plan for that.
Training sessions will be done in PARKLAND, FLORIDA at a local park.
We plan to begin our first speed clinics as soon as we have our group.
This will be finalized very quickly, so that we can get started.
We’ll discuss our schedule – as a group – and then agree on a best day and time – and everything will be communicated by email and/or text.
*With BREAKS FROM SCHOOL and upcoming TOURNAMENTS, we’ll work around schedules – for all of us.
If you cannot attend a clinic, no worries as you will be able to make up a session.
We’ll track the training sessions for every athlete using a “punch card” (which I’ll explain at the first clinic).
Training will be organized and efficient – so that we maximize every minute.
Player development will be the focus of each training session.
If you have questions – please contact me.
Before getting started, PLEASE READ and AGREE to the TWO WAIVERS below.
Then, please fill out the short application with background information for the athlete.
Thanks for your interest and I hope to see you on the fields!
